They will be playing in the final of the Swansea District Cup at Dunvant RFC on Saturday, 9th May. Kick off is at 2.30 p.m., and the opposition will be either Bonymaen or Waunarlwydd.
Junior Touring Teams - Saturday 2nd May Richmond are visiting us with approximately 200 people. Between 10.30 and 12.30, teams of under 9's, 10's, 11's and 12's will be playing at Underhill Park. A barbecue and drinks will be available. Congratulations to Jack Yeates of the Under 16's Jack, from the William Hancock, was part of the Welsh Army Cadets Force Team that were Intermediate Grand Slam Team Winners of the tournament in Brecon. Jack is pictured 3rd from right in the back row Congratulations to the Under 16's They will be playing in the final of the Ospreys Shield for the second year. The game, against Pelenna, will take place at Aberavon RFC on Sunday 10th May. Kick off is at 12.00. Lem Evans Sadly, our former chairman, Lem Evans, died on 24th February 2009. Following his funeral and cremation services on 9th March, the Club has received the following message : Carolyn, Richie and boys would like to thank everyone for their wellwishes and support at this sad time.
Dad enjoyed his time with Mumbles so much, and to see so many people come to pay their respects at his funeral was wonderful.
It is a very difficult time for us, but to know that so many people thought so highly of Lem really does help to ease the pain. Thank you. Congratulations to Ollie Rix from the U 16's who captained the Boys Club of Wales team to victory in their matches against Gloucester and Somerset (18 - 5)
